I can do it better...but somehow I don't do it (consistently enough).
Many leaders spent much of their careers as coordinators or directors that were valuable and effective because they managed up. When it came time to move into senior or executive leadership roles you were confident and the impact and value you had demonstrated throughout your career was undeniable.
