Consider the basic human needs framework, share the basic human need (or needs) that most resonate with you. What conditions need to exist in the workplace for you to experience this basic human need?

I love thinking about the basic human needs as it relates to the workplace. So much of my identity and self-worth is tied up in my career (right or wrong), so it makes total sense that these needs relay to my career as well. That being said, the need that resonates the most with me is safety and security. I have sadly experienced distrust and unsafe work environments in my past and that had such an impact on me personally and professionally. When I feel safe, I feel motivated and inspired to do my best work.
