About the Event
Leaders are often the first to notice when someone is struggling. Few have been trained in how to respond.
When an employee is in distress, most managers default to one of two extremes: stepping back entirely, or stepping into a role that isn't theirs to fill. Neither serves the employee — nor the leader. This workshop teaches managers to recognize signs of distress and trauma at work and respond with both care and clarity, while staying firmly within their role rather than that of a clinician.
You'll leave with practical language for hard moments, healthy boundaries that protect both you and your team, and referral practices that connect people to real support. Because supporting your people shouldn't mean carrying what isn't yours.
IN THIS WORKSHOP, YOU WILL
Recognize the signs of distress and trauma as they show up in workplace behavior
Learn practical, compassionate language for responding when someone is…
