What are the mindful ways you plan to rest over the next few days?
One of the first gifts I always think of when I consider what a deeper practice of mindfulness in my life has brought is that I am excited about my rest - especially my active rest.
There have been seasons where I was either on autopilot or burnt out and when the world slowed down a bit I just basically was a zombie. I didn't have the energy to even think of what to do with myself. Vacations seems a weird way to spend money just to sleep in a strange place - LOL.
Now I am excited to consider all the active ways I enjoy myself without any of them having to be productive. Mindfulness isn't just about meditation.
